Catenary Measuring Instruments

Steinmeyer FMD develops and manufactures mechatronic-optical systems for the world market, and for more than 40 years catenary measuring devices. They are used for the manual determination of the catenary position (height/stagger/zigzag).

The handy instruments for non-contact punctual controls are indispensable for the installation and assembly of catenaries, investigation and maintenance as well as allowance and building inspection at catenary systems. They are technically approved by the Deutsche Bahn AG and used at well-known railway companies, transportation companies, municipal transportation services, for tramways and infrastructure companies.
