Optical Instruments
Precision engineering and precision optics - this combination was the key to success for Gustav Heyde more than 130 years ago. His 1872 established "Mathematical Mechanical Institute" became a rapidly expanding enterprise of high precision optomechanical systems.
The Dresden workshops developed and manufactured measuring instruments for land surveying, special binoculars or aerial mapping cameras for aircrafts. Within this tradition Feinmess Dresden still designs and manufactures measuring instruments for specific applications.
